This piece was meant to draw a parallel between the binary logic behind President Bush's statement "You're either with us or you're against us" and the paranoia-inducing phenomena of pareidolia (seeing things). The pieces are pinned to the wall on a grid. The direction each piece arches is determined by whether the roll of a single di comes up even or odd (hence the binary system). The distorted pattern created by this process creates a foreground / background undulation when viewed from a distance of about ten feet or more, mimicking forces that often induce pareidolia.
